You really want to get some updated pictures of your kids or maybe even your whole family but man, is it so much trouble to go to a traditional studio for that. The kids get tired and cranky and sometimes the shoot just goes on way too long. Custom Photography is quite an experience. It is starkly different than one you get when you go to a retail photography establishment. I work with you from start to finish, beginning with your goals and the plans you have for the finished product. One thing I never want anyone to walk away with is a bunch of photos that are going to sit in a shoebox for 20 years. That’s just not right. My goal is to to ensure your ultimate satisfaction with your experience and your purchases.
When you work with me, the one thing you will walk away thinking is, “Wow, that was so relaxed and fun!”. I’m an observer for the most part, and like to sit back and watch the action unfold, especially when working with children. It’s so much fun to watch them react to the things around them and I love to capture their expressions with my camera. Sometimes, with bigger groups like families, a little more interaction and posing from me may be called for but still, I try to stay in the background and capture who you all really are. My vision of my photography business is not about creating art for myself but for you, my client. I want to create things that you will appreciate and want hanging in your home for many, many years. I’m all about dirty faces, bare feet splashing in puddles, crocs, scuffed knees. These are real life things and moments and those are what I love to capture for you. Sometimes I will offer special sessions that speak to the artist in me but your session will be all about YOU and what you want your images to look like.
