Happy New Year! – Greensboro Photographer
How is 2009 looking for you? I think 2009 looks great and, in spite of anything else we hear on the news, I feel really positive about this year. Perhaps it has something to do with the amazing session I had with a lovely lady and her three companions on New Year’s Eve. Take a look and tell me what you think!
On New Year’s Eve, I met a co-worker of my husband’s at the Sarah Duke Memorial Gardens in Durham. What a gorgeous place it is! Its quite expansive and we only walked through a small portion of it so I can’t wait to go back and see what else it has to offer. As I was saying, I met Paige early in the morning as she wanted to get some photos of her with her dogs to surprise her parents. Paige has two pit bulls and a whippet and they were three of the most beautiful and sweet dogs I have ever met! Paige is very passionate in her support of pit bulls and after meeting hers, I can see why. Here is a picture of her with Cricket, Rocco, and Mamie (starting at the left).

Isn’t Rocco’s coloring so striking? He’s mixed with Weimaraner which is how he got that beautiful coat! Here are two of my favorite pics from the session as I feel like it really illustrates the love Paige has for these dogs:

It was crazy windy on the day that we took these pictures and the dogs all kept picking up the scent of something interesting while we were in the park. Whatever it was it was way more interesting than looking at me! LOL
I had an amazing time taking these photographs. Paige is just the most lovely person both inside and out and it was an incredible pleasure to be able to record these moments for her. It was the best way to both wrap up 2008 and begin 2009!
I hope you’re all having a wonderful New Year!
Oh, I like these even better seeing them bigger! Like I said before, they are awesome! :)
Thanks! The pictures from this session are definitely some of my all-time faves!!
FANTABULOUS!!!! Girl I hope some of your talent rubs off on me. Your color and clarity are spot on….you must be proud of their turn out, I know I would be!!!
Amber, I cannot tell a lie. I absolutely LOVE these images. The fact that she called me over the weekend to tell me how much she and her family loved them made me feel even better about them!!! Pshaw about my talent rubbing off on you! You are SO good I don’t even want to hear it!!
Wow, these are so beautiful. Perfection.
Evie!
I was so excited to see our photo shoot up on your blog! I am quite slow getting back into the swing of things, like looking at my favorite blogs, since the surgery, but I was just thrilled to see that you were so proud of these shots you blogged about them! You are such an amazing photographer, and yes, everyone who has seen the shots is just in awe of your work! (Not to mention you made me look pretty good in them!) Thank you….Thank you….Thank you!!!! I love them! I love you for doing these!
