The boys and I took a little trip today. See, living in NC we are so fortunate to be close to both the beach and the mountains and, at this time of year, the colors of the fall leaves are just stunning to behold. Only…we’re not in the mountains. What? You mean this isn’t in Asheville?
But, wait a minute. That sure LOOKS like Asheville. And so does this one:

Ok, ok. You know where we were? We were at Guilford Battleground Park! Isn’t it beautiful there? Who needs to drive all the way to the mountains when we have amazing scenery like this right in our own backyard? I’m thinking about using one of these pictures on our card this holiday season. I just love all the fall colors! Of course, then that means I have to decide on a card and I like so many of them that I think it will be hard to do!
Get out and play in your backyard this week while the temps are still on our side. You’ll be surprised at the beauty just waiting to be discovered!
